This is a collabrative sculpture I created with a guest blacksmith (Geoffroy Weibel) from France. Back in 2017 during his time in my shop, we decided we wanted to forge something fun, and I threw out the idea that we should forge something inspired by petroglyphs found in Scandinavia. We quickly decided on a Reindeer, because of how the antlers are depicted in a very exaggerated way, and took a great liking to the forms.  The construction is purely forged steel; most of it done with one man directing and one man striking with a sledge hammer, ( the old fashioned way )  traditional joinery. Dimensions are 27.25" height, 26" long, and 8" wide. This is a "one-off" item and priced with crated shipping included ($175) for shipping anywhere in the US.
